Citizen science is a way to involve citizens in data collection, to channel their existing interests, while inspiring their awareness on local biodiversity and conservation issues.

Familiar in setting up a land-based humpback whale observation scheme with last year secondary school children during holidays, as well as developing a collaborative scheme with interested fishermen to help document marine megafauna which resulted in interesting sightings.
